South American crop preview

USDA will update its South American crop forecasts Thursday morning.

USDA is expected to slash its estimates of corn and soybean production in Argentina and Brazil this Thursday, as a result of drought conditions throughout much of the growing season.

The department will issue its latest crop forecasts at 7:30 a.m. CST Thursday.  Here are the latest trade estimates, in million tonnes:
