Hard freeze as far south as Vandalia

Lows across Illinois Wednesday morning were as low as 28 degrees as far south as the I-70 corridor east of St. Louis. A freeze warning remains in effect for all of Illinois from 3 a.m until 8 a.m. Thursday.
