Farm Bureau continues to urge Congress to reach agreement on the House Agriculture Committee and Senate-passed farm bills. However, the farm bill is not on the list of bills that will be considered by the House this week. For more information, visit www.FarmBillNow.com.

In a Tuesday AgriTalk radio program interview, Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.), a member of the House Agriculture Committee, said he thinks the farm bill will be considered during the lame-duck session of Congress after the election. The Ag Committee will not consider anything related to the bill next week.
