2012 Pumpkin Day set for Sept. 6
Illinois pumpkin growers are invited to attend the 2012 Illinois Pumpkin Day, held at the University of Illinois Vegetable Crops Research Farm in Champaign, Thursday, Sept. 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend several presentations, including those discussing varieties, production systems, herbicides and weed control, bio-fumigants, insect pests, diseases, spray equipment, post-harvest issues and marketing. University of Illinois specialists will be on hand to present information and answer questions.
